The Yamaha YAS-70 is a front surround sound audio system consisting of a central receiver and a large 6-1/2" subwoofer. The central receiver features six 2" woofers, as well as an FM tuner, iPod connectivity (YDS-10 adapter required), and several additional multimedia inputs: digital optical, digital coaxial, audio.

Once connected, the YAS-70’s receiver can process Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic II audio, eventually unleashing it with 310 total Watts of power across 6 interior channels—plus the subwoofer). The Yamaha YAS-70 basically functions as a 6.1-channel system by providing a surround sound experience without the need for a conventional multi-speaker system.
