The Pros:Love the xlink! Works great with v325i phone. Had my landline number ported to cell phone.
The Cons:I've returned it, XTreme Technologies Corp is extreme at saying that's a great product, back to the Dock N Talk.

Any regular telephones connected to the XLINK BT work exactly as expected and in most cases one would not even suspect that the call is taking place over a cell phone. Some of the reasons to use a XLINK BT:
-
Money. The XLINK BT allows a cell phone to completely replace an existing land line and the costs associated with it. Even though your landline is gone you can continue to use the phone located throughout your house!
-
Coverage. Cell phone coverage does not always satisfactorily penetrate into the interior of an office or home. Using a XLINK BT allows the cell phone to be left in an area with coverage, yet remain usable from elsewhere.
-
Comfort. The XLINK BT allows cell phone calls to take place with the same comfort and convenience one is accustomed to from their regular phone line.
-
Safety. Any potential issues with cellular radiation are eliminated as the cell phone does not need to even be in the same room.
-
Convenience. The cell phone can always remain in one location charging. There is no need to search out the cell phone to answer an incoming call or make an outgoing call. Simply use the telephones connected to the XLINK BT which may be corded or cordless telephones wired throughout a home or office.
Bluetooth® wireless technology ensures setting up the XLINK BT is straightforward. Simply place the XLINK BT somewhere close to where you want to keep your cell phone. Pair it with your cell phone the same way as any other Bluetooth device. Plug in one or more telephones. The telephones connected to the XLINK BT can now be used to send and receive calls
Many homes contain more than one cell phone user. The XLINK BT has the ability to pair to three cell phones. The ring pattern and/or caller ID can be used to indicate which cell phone is ringing.
The XLINK BT has several very interesting features. The voice dials and speed dials programmed into your cell phone now become accessible from any phone in the house. For example, simply picking up any old phone and dialing # # allows you to dial by name. Assuming the voice dial was previously programmed into your cell phone, the call will go through as expected. You can also dial 1 # from any phone to listen to your cellular voice mail.

#xtreme_technologies_xlink_bt Own it for a month and love it. Owned Dock-N-Talk before. Once I changed my cell phone all headache start for me. DNT did not worked properly. Contacted manufacturer and I was told to mail them unit for reprograming. Total extra cost $40. With DNT purchase price $190 pretty much unexpected expense. I decided to sell DNT. I found this Xlink from local seller. Many extra features, improved quality and lower price than DNT. Upgrades are available on the manufacturer site. Takes only 2 minutes to upgrade the software in your XLINK BT. Just simple like that.
