There are 7 factory pre-set wash cycles and options, including a cycle for quick wash, delicates and whitest whites to name a few, and also features a three-tray dispenser which releases detergent, bleach and fabric softener at appropriate times in the cycle. An innovative suspension system reduces vibration during operation, in which the wash basket reaches a maximum spin speed of 1,050 RPM. The quiet wash technology uses a sound-absorbing pad on the front of the cabinet helping reduce operational noise. Other features include child lockout and optional storage pedestals, laundry tower and worksurface. The WFW8300SW is available in a "white with gray accents" finish. The matching dryers for this washer are the electric WED8300SB/SE/SW or gas WGD8300SB/SE/SW duet sports dryers, which come in the matching "white with gray accents", as well as in "Ocean Blue" and "Black-on-Black". There is an optional stacking kit which allows a stackable installation of the washer and dryer.

#whirlpool_duet_sport_wfw8300sw I bought both duets and have been up and running excelllent since the first day I got them, if I remember well, it was around 2006. Will highly recomend to anyone. Btw, if the washer leaks, level it!

#whirlpool_duet_sport_wfw8300sw This machine is horrible, I know 3 people who purchased the same model and all have broken down. I argued with whirpool after the warrenty period and they agreed to repalce it. This one broke down again after 2 years. The tech look at the machine and indicated this model is plagued with problems.

#whirlpool_duet_sport_wfw8300sw after about 150 washes the main rollerbearing for tub is shot and hard to get part plus very expensive to change almost 80% of original cost, probably the best is to throw away and buy another brand

#whirlpool_duet_sport_wfw8300sw This machine is not worth buying had it six months and it started to get really loud. Had to buy a $300 dollar part to fix it. It worked again properly for another 5 months and then had the same problem. DO NOT BUY!!
