After a successful first year the Vanilla Coke drink decreased in popularity and in late 2005 Coca-Cola announced that they would be phasing it out. As of May 2007 Vanilla Coke is once again available in stores inside of the United States.
Coca-Cola is also introducing a new variation known as Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero.
Vanilla Coke is a variation of Coca-Cola's Coke line of drinks that adds an extra amount of vanilla flavouring to the classic soda pop. Vanilla Coke was already a known version of Coke and had been available since the 50s, however this version of vanilla Coke was custom made in diner shops and involved putting vanilla ice cream in normal coke. Coca-Cola took the already popular variation, mass produced and marketed it as Vanilla Coke.

#vanilla_coke I really liked vanilla coke - I've seen it around again from time to time here in Toronto. More often I see the Black-Cherry one, which is also pretty good.

#vanilla_coke I kinda liked it when it first came out, but then drifted away...there's a cherry vanilla coke out that's kinda wierd tasting :-/ Overall i'd say it's a good product!

#vanilla_coke I hate it. But I don't like pop that much anyway. I think it gets some pretty mixed reactions because it tastes similar to cream soda.
