Street Muttz are animatronic stuffed animals that respond to your presence and act like dogs. They can detect when you're there using an embedded sensor, which makes them more life-like as they respond to your presence without having to turn them on.

The dogs also: whimper, growl, tilt their head and make other puppy sounds. If you want to groom your Street Muttz you can use a damp cloth with soap and water on their fur and leave them out to dry. Each Street Mutt has its own personality and look, making the line appealing to kids who want their own puppy.

Street Muttz are following the trend of formal 'adoption' seen with other stuffed animals like the Webkinz. Although there is no online environment for owners to interact in, you can send in your adoption papers and receive dog tags as proof of ownership. When you buy a Street Muttz part of the proceeds go to Dogs Trust (a UK based dog welfare charity).
