Sony TDM-BT1

$80.00 Released January, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Initial setup is quick and very simple - single button/single connection design enables full configuration in under a minute. Large number of pairing slots is ideal for fully-featured home theater environments - can simultaneously stream from laptops, Mp3 players, tablet devices and more. Bluetooth connectivity is strong and consistent - maintains signal strength, even when other wireless services are enabled.

The Cons:Not fully compatible with Sony DVD Home Theater units - requires detachment of S-AIR unit, limiting audio outputting to 3.1 channels. Seemingly overpriced based on the feature set - similar models from Belkin and Griffin are available at a fraction of the price. Not recommended for use near a microwave - may interrupt signal and potentially damage the unit.
