The Pros:The beginning of a new genre of gaming / entertainment - "Robot Wars" for the masses. Programmable via PC - great for older children or robotics enthusiasts. Can be played with on its own, with other robots, or online with other players around the world.

The Cons:Windows only software. Rushed to market - buggy software with unimplemented features, the online world isn't available yet! High price for a toy.

The Robonica Roboni-i toy is a mid-grade robot that interacts with users through several video game style programs which are operated on a computer; the robot can also be controlled through the computer as well.

Robonica intends to bridge the gap between virtual video games, and real-life controlled robotics with the Roboni-i. The Roboni-i comes bundled with several different games as well as the option for users to create their own games.

The unique games that are included provide both single and team player games as well as game editing options and the enhancement to download other user created games from an online database. The Robonica Roboni-i includes additional features such as an interactive tutorial, a complete online world to explore, online games and missions, online credits ranks and tournaments, 16 unique body sensors, and custom programmable options.
