The Pros:Excellent sound quality- crystal clear even at higher volumes. Subwoofer blends well with speakers. 7.1 surround sound speaker system fills up a larger room.
The Cons:Relatively large speakers may not fit well in smaller room. Some won't like the "boxy" design. Spring clips aren't really that useful.
The Onkyo SKS-HT870 is a 7.1 channel speaker system which inject power and vitality into all your movies, games and music. The package includes two front floor-standing tallboy speakers (SKF-770), a center speaker (SKC-770), two surround speakers (SKR-770), two surround back speakers (SKB-770) and a subwoofer (SKW-770) along with speaker bases and speaker wires.

The highlight of the system is the two tallboy speakers which are rated at 130 watts through two 3-1/4" woofers and a 1" tweeter. The much smaller center and surround speakers are also rated at 130 watts and use the same drivers, although the surround speakers only feature a single 3-1/4" woofer and no tweeter. The powered subwoofer is rated at 290 watts and has a 10" cone.
