The Maytag MBL2556K is a 25.00 cu. ft. capacity freezer-on-bottom Energy Star® Qualified refrigerator that relies on a dependable electronic Dual Cool system that automatically optimizes cooling by monitoring the temperatures in both the fresh food compartment and the freezer.

An upgrade from the Maytag MBL1956K and Maytag MBL2256K models, the Maytag MBL2556K is in fact Maytag’s highest-end bottom-freezer refrigerator. The MBL2556K supports a larger capacity of 25.00 cubic ft. (versus 18.60/21.90), but in all other ways is an exact duplicate of its predecessors. For instance, the MBL2556K also features Spill-Catcher shelves that hold in liquid for easy cleanup, FreshLock crispers with humidity control for fresher fruits/vegetables, and a Glide-Out freezer drawer with SmoothClose drawer tracks for easy opening and closing of the drawer. In addition, the MBL2556K comes equipped with a factory-installed icemaker, a covered dairy compartment, a removable egg cradle, and a deli drawer. The MBL2556K also sports a QuietSeries 200 sound silencing system that keeps the refrigerator running quietly in the background, not to mention a BrightSeries lighting package that keeps the interior of the refrigerator lightly lit.
