#loc8tor_plus Wow, that's surprising that it can't handle being dropped on a table. I'm also surprised about the poor range indoors, is it because of interference?

#loc8tor_plus I bought Loc8tor Plus a few days ago to catch a mail thief - but that's another story. As a toy loc8tor is a great thing - it's perfect to locate lost keys, or in my case my wife, who likes to get lost in crowds.
Only drawbacks are in my case:
1) Poor range indoors - no more than 10 meters in a typical British house.
2) Tags aren't waterproof.
3) The quality is horrible - I lost the backlight after dropping the locator on a table (like I always do with my wallet, keys and cellphone). It also arrived broken - instead of switching itself off it goes into an endless loop in the "Locate" menu.
