Who says laundry has to be boring? LG is making a bold statement with their TROMM front loading washer giving it attractive styling and eye-catching color. The pricey washer contains advanced functionality including 9 different washing modes suited for a variety of clothing materials.
Four cubic feet of storage allow for large quantity loads such as king sized comforters.
Two features that LG are advertising with this washer are the SteamWash and SteamFresh modes. LG claims that its tumbling action and water distribution system already lower water use compared to other washers. With the SteamWash system, high temperature steam is applied to your laundry which uses even less water and is meant for certain types of clothing. The SteamFresh mode is used for removing wrinkles and odors from clothing without having to go through an entire wash cycle.
This washer is also compatible with LG's remote monitoring system. Plug in an optional remote monitor display system into any power outlet in your house, and it communicates directly with the washer. The display then shows how much time is left in the cycle, or if there are any problems.

#lg_tromm_front_load_steamwasher Bleach leaks onto the floor when it is added to the dispenser. No factory service in the Boston area, you are at the mercy of independent servicers that have no experience with the machine. Telephone support is of no help. Very expensive machine that does not deliver.
