Kenmore 2853

The Super Capacity Model 2853 is a 3.2 cu. ft. top-loading washing machine from Kenmore.  The Super Capacity 2853 features a two-speed motor with four selectable water temperatures, and uses the Dual-Action Plus Agitator.

  Standard washing cycle options include Normal, Heavy Duty, Permanent Press, Handwash, and Delicate.  Wash cycle options allow for pre-wash and extra rinse.  The 2853 is not Energy Star-compliant, but has an electrical usage of only 388 KWH per year.   The wash basket is made of porcelain and the top and lid are powder-coated.
