iHome iDM70

The iHome iDM70 is an iPad accessory unveiled at CES 2011. It's an innovative ‘Sound Sleeve’ that functions as a protective iPad case, in addition to a Bluetooth speaker. It features rechargeable, flat NXT speaker units that can stream audio from any Bluetooth device, including a smartphone like the iPhone, or a personal media player.

However, it’s obviously geared primarily for the iPad. As for the unit's casing, it's constructed out of durable and long-lasting silicone, and it features a six-position stand for setting up an iPad in various horizontal or vertical configurations. It was released in mid 2010.
