Hard Candy iPad Sleek Skin

The Sleek Skin is an iPad case made by Hard Candy, released in early 2010. The Sleek Skin is made of semi-hardened TPU rubber, a material that retains the iPad’s original shape by hugging its bezel tightly.

Compared to silicone, this material stretches less and is easier to clean. This case is designed to make the iPad easier to hold, and therefore lessens the chance of a fall. The rubber material used will lessen the shock from a drop, but shouldn’t be relied upon in a worst-case scenario. An integrated screen cover is also included, which snaps onto the back of the iPad when not in use. The Hard Candy iPad Sleek Skin is available in Clear, Orange, Pink, Green or Blue and has an MSRP of $39.95.
