 The General Electric WJRE5500G is a 3.5 cubic foot King size capacity washer that includes a stainless steel basket for higher durability and room. It uses a HydroWave wash system that matches the actions of the washing machine to the type of clothing.

For example, a longer wash with slower movement ends up with cleaner clothing that are less damaged by the procedure. It has five wash and spin speed combinations along with 18 wash cycles. For wash and rinse options it has four different temperatures, the same number as the water level options. The GE WJRE5500G has a GentlePower agitator and a rotary-electronic control. It has a variety of other built in features, such as ArmorGuard protection, AutoBalance suspension system, color lid instructions, is front serviceable and has a galvanized steel cabinet.
