The Pros:Less depth than other front loaders, ideal for tighter spaces. Design has nice lines, looks like a high-end machine. Clothes come out thoroughly cleaned every time.
The Cons:Water tends to puddle in the front rubber gasket, needs to be wiped dry after every load. Door is heavy and hung on a plastic hinge, prone to sagging.
The Frigidaire ATF8000 is a 27" front load washer from Frigidaire's Affinity series with a load capacity of 3.5 cu.ft. The washer utilizes a tumble action cleaning system with advanced rinse technology which is more efficient and provides better results than a traditional agitator system and includes a built-in water heater making it Frigidaire's most advanced front load washer.

It features Frigidaire's iCare and iWash Intelligent Fabric Care technology which combine to gently wash the clothing and automatically customize the load for optimum stain removal results. The ATF8000 is designed with a stainless steel wash drum with a drum light, rounded glass door with chrome trim, and front electronic controls. It comes with 5 wash temperature settings, 4 auto temperature selections, and 7 wash cycles and includes heavy/light soil settings and options for extra rinse and extended spin. The washer also offers a variety of additional features such as an estimated time remaining indicator, 14-hour delay start, cycle status, automatic temperature control, and a 3-tray dispenser. The ATF8000 is Energy Star qualified and is available in a black diamond, glacier blue, or arctic white finish.
