EZ-RJ45

The EZ-RJ45 made by Sullstar Technologies, are network cable crimpers that crimps and cuts wires to make RJ-45, RJ-11, or RJ-12 network cables. What differentiates this product over its competition is that it simultaneously cuts the excess wires after it has crimped the connector.

It does this with a ratcheting action, and, ultimately, lead to far fewer failed or mis-wired connections.

The EZ-RJ45 has a patented design, and is available for $50 - $70. It is an all-steel construction with a metal-oxide finish. It also includes a wire stripper and cutter, with 2-pack replacement blades available from the manufacturer. The tool comes with an instruction manual, and requires you buy the connectors separately (available in large volumes for approximately $0.50 / connector).
