With its 12AX7 vacuum tubes, the MIC200 can also add warmth to your digital recordings. It includes 16 preset preamp voicings optimized for recording vocals, guitars, keyboards, drums, etc.

Retailing at $70, the MIC200 has a good balance of high quality componentry and flexibility; it features +48 V phantom power, a phase reverse switch and 20 dB pad. There is a toggle for a dedicated low-cut filter for removing unwanted floor noise. There is an 8-segment LED level meter on the front face of the unit to accurately trim your input levels.
Hook up your MIC200 with the Behringer UCA202 U-Control digital recording interface and you have a fairly inexpensive home recording solution.
